The team from Heavymech conducted the refurbishment of our kiln rollers during the shutdown in January 2010, which included the blueing and scraping of the bronze bearings to suit the roller journals and the machining of the kiln roller tyres. The work was conducted both at our site and in their workshop, with work being undertaken around the clock in both instances.

All of their tradesmen worked in a safe and reliable manner and the quality of the tradesmen outstanding. The task was achieved on time and on budget. It was a pleasure to deal with Heavymech and it was evident that they were focused on ensuring that both our quality and scheduling requirements were met.

We use Heavymech Engineering for much of our repairs and maintenance requirements to an API specification.

This includes the recent refurbishment of our Drilling Rig Drawworks, and are very satisfied with practises and procedures used to return equipment back to OEM.

Due to the wide range of equipment in their workshop, Heavymech has the ability to undertake almost any repair under one roof, which adds convenience as it enables them to provide the most expedient service overall and requires less coordination by our staff. Heavymech’s willingness and ability to work extra shifts or around the clock in some instances has been extremely helpful when we have had breakdown situations in the past. We are able to call upon Heavymech at any time and know they will be available to service our requirements.
